Valor International Scholars

About

Valor International Scholars (VIS) is the second campus to Valor Christian School International in Portland, OR (www.valorschool.org). It is a K-12, private independent Christian school and is currently a candidate for accreditation with AdvancED, the largest accrediting body in the world.

VIS will run as a global campus, where both Korean and foreign students are able to enroll and receive a U.S. diploma by the end of their high school graduation. The campus will be located in Anseong (90 mins from Seoul) and will run as a boarding school (6th Grade ~ 12 Grade) with weekend shuttle services to Seoul.

Valor International Scholars will focus on bringing together a top-notch education curriculum with our global leadership emphasis based on the "World Course" from Harvard University. We have also partnered with UT Austin School of Engineering to provide the "Engineer Your World" courses and will incorporate the Design Thinking process from the d.School at Stanford University to solve world problems and challenges. In addition, we will be offering college prep courses through AP classes for the College Board tests as well as elective courses in coding, the arts, and communications.


베일러 국제 교육 Valor International Scholars (이하 VIS) 안성캠퍼스는 미국 오레건 주 포틀랜드에 위치한 베일러 크리스천 스쿨 (이하 VCSI)의 두 번째 캠퍼스 입니다.

2016년 9월 개교한 VCSI는 유치원생부터 12학년(K-12) 과정을 운영하고 있는 기독교 사립학교 이며 미국 최대 학력인증기관인 AdvancED 로부터 가장 빠르게 정회원 후보자격을 부여 받은 정식 학교 입니다 (SEVIS 인증 학교)

2014년을 시작으로 미국 오레곤주 포틀랜드에 기반을 두고 TIE 재단을 설립한 본 교의 설립자들은 다년간 기독교 교육 혁신을 주도 하며 미국-한국의 교육 문화를 개선하는데 힘써왔으며 이를 통해 다양한 교육 네트워크를 구성하였습니다.

기독교 문화와 교육 혁신을 통해 하나님이 쓰시는 인재를 양성 하고자 전 세계 최고의 커리큘럼들을 공부하고 발전시켜 도입 하였으며 나아가 TIE 1:1 스쿨 모델을 통해 개발도상국 나라들에 학교들을 설립 하였습니다.

미국과 한국을 중심으로 한 이러한 교육적 변화와 혁신을 주도하며 2017년 개교한 VIS는 국내에서 처음 소개되는 국제 프로그램들과 4차산업 혁명을 주도하는 인재 양성을 위한 다양한 과정들이 제공 됩니다. 크리스챤으로 가져야할 사명을 함께 찾아가는 것이 가장 먼저 되는 VIS를 통해 대한민국이 다시 한번 기독교 교육을 통해 일어나길 바랍니다.
