Katoh Gakuen

About

Katoh Gakuen is a private Japanese school (K-12) one hour south of Tokyo on the Pacific Coast. We were the first English immersion school in Japan, and we have an internationally recognized program for excellence in language immersion education. The school is a bilingual program for Japanese students completing the International Baccalaureate Programme. We have been an MYP and DP school since 2002 (the first Japanese school to be authorized by the IB) and expect to be a PYP candidate school from 2023. We're looking for passionate, dedicated, resourceful teachers who are flexible and open-minded individuals committed to building collaborative relationships and delivering a high-quality curriculum using best instructional practices with students learning English as a second or foreign language.
