About
Plâtre.com / Plâtres Vieujot designs and builds custom decorative plasters for exterior and interior use, for casting, ...
We are specialized in mortars based on natural and traditional binders such as gypsum, lime or clay.
Vieujot is a family company founded in 1880 by Adolphe Vieujot.
Since 1899 we have continuously manufactured colored gypsum plaster for exterior use and more than a century later remain as the last French independent gypsum plaster manufacturer.
In 1996, the company Plâtre.com was set up to provide technical plasters such as plasters for decoration and mortars for restoration.
To realize the outstanding natural qualities of these materials we apply the following principles:
Using high quality materials
Providing precise technical assistance
Manufacturing to order
These principles relate to the requirements of the finishes:
For Decoration we make colour and texture samples according to the Client's needs of color, texture and aggregation.
For Restoration we carry out a chemical analysis of the existing original coating or mortar. We then reproduce the material in terms of composition, properties, performance and aesthetic aspect.
Since 1996, Plâtre.com's custom building materials operations have grown at 30 % per year, confirming the ongoing interest in this demanding and historic approach towards manufacture of high quality plasters and mortars.
