In an enchanting site, by the sea, not far from Saint Tropez, at the entrance of the Forêt du Dom and the Massif des Maures, Bormes les Mimosas is dedicated to idleness with its 17 km of beaches and its extraordinary coastline which stretches from the port of Bormes through the Gaou and the Cap Bénat to the cove of Cabasson, one of the most beautiful sites of the Var, protected and free of any construction since 1960. Why come to Bormes les Mimosas? Bormes has an exceptional geographical situation, a temperate climate, a preserved nature. In addition to this being the retreat of the President of France, it boasts a medieval village, acres of vineyards, the largest collection of mimosas in Europe, some of the best diving in the Mediterranean, and much, much more. The Tourist Office welcomes you all year round at the Medieval Village and from April to October at La Favière.
