With over 15,000 students, the University of Missouri–St. Louis is the largest public research university in eastern Missouri. UMSL provides excellent learning experiences and leadership opportunities to a diverse student body whose influence on the region upon graduation is immense.

UMSL is spread across 350 acres in suburban St. Louis County. It has a mix of modern and historic academic buildings as well as a variety of student residence halls, condominiums and apartments. The University of Missouri–St. Louis is one of four universities in the University of Missouri System. Established in 1963, it is the newest university in the UM System and is home to programs that consistently earn high rankings in their fields.
