UK River Restoration Centre (RRC)

About

A national information and advisory centre on all aspects of river restoration and enhancement, and sustainable river management. The Centre provides a focal point for the exchange of information and expertise relating to river restoration and enhancement in the UK.

Primarily, the RRC disseminates information on river restoration and enhancement projects and provides advice on site-specific technical issues through a network of experienced river restoration practitioners. The Centre aims to offer impartial advice to enable practitioners and clients, to gain maximum benefit from current experiences in a variety of easily accessible ways.The RRC is not however a project design or management consultancy.

RRC is a non-profit making organisation and it became the successor body to the River Restoration Project on 1st April 1998.
