About

Mechanika was started by two mechanical engineers, Jaco Lindeboom and Schalk Prinsloo. They were recently joined by Benoit Le Roy. Benoit strengthens the team by adding his chemical & process engineering background, executive management & consulting experience and business acumen. Combined business experience of the team is in excess of 70 years. Schalk is currently engaged with Sandvik Mining Systems as Manager for Contracts & Procurement to assist in building a robust and efficient team.

Jaco is currently engaged with Sandvik Mining Systems as Project Manager for two bulk materials handling projects. One in West-Africa and another in the Middle East.

Benoit is currently engaged in management of the specialist resources that Mechanika provides to projects, management of Mechanika's projects in East-Africa and overall business development.

In addition to our fabrication and construction experience in the Bulk materials handling and Mining industries we also have extensive design, manufacturing & construction experience in the Waste Management (Liquid, Solid, Hazardous), Water & Sewage Treatment, Power Generation, Defence and Aerospace, Petro-chemical and Nuclear industries.

Experienced in the design and development of First-Of-A-Kind (FOAK) electro-mechanical and composite material products and systems, and management of these projects. Experience with FOAK design projects enables us to add value to the process and to ensure a quality product. Our team of skilled technical specialists will address form, fit and function of your project.

General consulting services include engineering problem solving, project feasibility investigations, new product development assessments. These services were recently expanded to include Energy Efficiency Strategy Consulting, Renewable Energy Solutions, Energy Audits, Benchmarking, Financial Analysis of Energy Efficient Projects in partnership with KAI Energy
