About
Galerie Peter Kilchmann is a gallery for contemporary art with two locations in Zurich and one in Paris. Founded in 1992 in Zurich, it has been one of thedriving galleries that advanced the contemporary art scene in Switzerland. The gallery represents a total of 35 international artists and organizes up to 15 exhibitions in its own gallery spaces per year. A conceptual approach to the creative process and to socio-political circumstances is what distinguishes the gallery's program with artists covering all fields of creative expression including painting, video, film, photography, installation and sculpture. The gallery participates yearly in up to six important art fairs worldwide, such as Art Basel in Basel and Miami; Paris+ par Art Basel, Paris; ARCO Madrid; artgeneve and Miart, Milan.
