At OnBio, our specialist team are dedicated to supplying the UK film, TV, and event industries with ultra-low carbon heating and cooling systems, as well as renewable diesel for generators and site machinery. With over 20 years of expertise in the film industry, we understand the fast-paced nature of production and have crafted specialised services to help reduce environmental impact without compromising on quality or speed.

Our Renewable Diesel dramatically cuts CO2 emissions by up to 90%, containing no fossil fuels, which allows productions to significantly reduce their carbon footprint without needing to alter their existing equipment. This commitment to sustainability is at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2014 by Tom Crooke, a former Location Manager with two decades of experience, OnBio emerged to fill the gap for sustainable alternatives in the hire industry. As the first UK plant hire company to operate workshop and marquee heaters on 100% sustainable fuels, we have grown into one of the industry's most trusted suppliers.

From our carefully selected heating and cooling equipment to our unwavering use of 100% ISCC certified renewable fuels, we aim to radically reduce our clients' carbon emissions and contribute meaningfully to the sector's transition to net zero. Our latest innovation, the 'Orb,' a powerful battery unit made from second-life electric car batteries, provides silent, emission-free power on set, further showcasing our commitment to sustainability.
