Polio Survivors Ireland celebrates over 30 years of being For Polio Survivors By Polio Survivors since being set up in 1993. The charity ensures that those living with the Late Effects of Polio, or with Post Polio Syndrome (PPS) are enabled to live with dignity. Polio survivors have varying needs which are often not understood or known by the public or by medical professionals. The organisation works to increase knowledge about the Late Effects of Polio and to help polio survivors maintain their independence, including advocating for members. CRA No. 20030926. CHY 11356.
