Figure 1.A. is an international scientific art exhibition celebrating science and the art within it. We expose the beauty and hurdles of scientific research and actively highlight the parallels between art and science. Every year, a vibrant collection of images submitted by scientists from all around the globe is presented to the public. We believe that art plays a fundamental role for human perception and offers a fantastic opportunity to decode science.
Since 2016, Figure 1.A. offers an unique and high quality experience. We provide a holistic experience, pay great attention to detail and complement the exhibition by an incredible series of lectures, workshops, and art+science inspirational talks. The Figure 1.A. team also offers its curatorial expertise for external events.
