Conductive Transfers has developed a fantastic new process to screen print circuits that are stretchable, washable and cost effective making them perfect for enabling new wearable applications. The key innovation is the elimination of all wires and plastic substrates found in today's e-textiles. The process involves printing a sequence of encapsulating, conducting, encapsulating and adhesive layers onto a sheet of plastic called a transfer film. This "Conductive Transfer" is then heat pressed onto the textile and the transfer film is peeled off. The result is clothing with valuable new functionality that remains comfortable and washable.
