IMS Nederland is een allround leverancier en distributeur van staal, roestvast staal en aluminium. Het bedrijf is ISO 9001:2015 gecertificeerd en geniet al meer dan 60 jaar een gerenommeerde naam binnen de staalbranche.
IMS Nederland is in 1954 opgericht in Schiedam, als Nederlandse vestiging van het van oorsprong Duitse concern SCHMOLZ+BICKENBACH. Sinds 2015 behoort de onderneming tot IMS Group, die in 1980 ontstond uit de samenvoeging van diverse handelsfirma's en sinds 2010 onderdeel is van Jacquet Metal Service.
IMS Group is nu vertegenwoordigd in 10 Europese landen en beschikt over 47 distributiecentra met in totaal ca. 1700 medewerkers.
