About

Originally PHD Electrical Services, the company began in 2001. In order to meet the demands of our customers and consistently provide high levels of service, the company has evolved into what it is today, PHD Electrical Contractors Ltd incorporating PHD Site Services Ltd.

The micro-management of these two arms of the company affords us the luxury of maintaining strong customer relationships, whilst allowing us to keep our installation team fully up to speed in all aspects of Construction site requirements (PASMA, IPAF, First Aid at Work, SSSTS) ensuring quality across the scope of installation works PHD undertake.

Our company structure allows us to quickly respond to fast-moving programs of work, still maintaining high standards of workmanship utilizing a mixture of directly employed staff and "hand-picked" subcontractors.

As a group, we understand the importance of a safe working environment and provide the same level of training to all operatives. This commitment to our workforce in turn provides us with a large pool of loyal operatives who are well-versed in the PHD Ethos to work. The company as a whole is supported by Southall's Health and Safety Consultants with all training to satisfy health and Safety requirements facilitated by LeBreton Training Services.

Originally specialising in BMS / HVAC installations for companies such as Airtech Controls Ltd, Building Technology Systems Ltd, Johnson Controls, Satchwell / Invensys and AES as well as Local Authority installations, the last six years or so has seen us branch out into Renewable Energy and Standby Generation installations. To date we have been heavily involved in installations on over twenty-five Green Frog Power remote power station sites, helping the company grow into the largest provider of Standby Power back into the National Grid in the UK.
