About
East is a matchmaker between Nordic and Eastern European companies, finding culturally and technically fitting outsourced IT talent from our big network of professional software development companies. We help put together teams and find individual experts to meet the most demanding needs.
In addition to tech talent, we provide up-to-date market information to support better decision-making in IT staffing. Our data hub – Feast – offers valuable IT market data from the Nordics and Eastern Europe, and exclusive access to world-class IT talent, helping digital and IT decision makers make strategic staffing and outsourcing decisions now and in the future.
Our partner network consists of hundreds of IT service companies with tens of thousands of IT experts from the Eastern European region – software developers, data, cloud and mobile engineers, as well as MarTech and cybersecurity experts.
Our 16+ years of experience in the Balkans has taught us the local operating culture as well as the best conditions for successful outsourcing in both long-term product development projects and individual projects. Our knowledge of Nordic and Balkan cultures—as well as our technical expertise and familiarity with leading distributed teams—create an excellent platform for helping our clients with nearshoring needs.
East started operations in 2006 as a digital media company in Finland and 2007 in Bulgaria. Over the years, we have implemented hundreds of projects and helped our clients in the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, and the United States find talented individual developers and entire development teams.
