Polycare offers a sustainable solution for the most resource- and carbon-intensive aspect of a building: the masonry. With our Generation 4 Masonry System, Polycare utilises geopolymer-based concrete, reducing carbon emissions by 70% compared to traditional cement concrete while providing higher strength and durability. The hollow blocks, divided into a 12.5 cm grid, can be filled with any insulation material. Dovetails as part of a tongue and groove system replace glue or mortar and facilitate easy, clean & fast installation and reusability. The lightweight system is suitable for load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls in new construction and renovation. Combining two rows of blocks creates load-bearing walls with a 25 cm thickness, meeting energy-efficient and Passive House standards. Façade elements and interior cladding can be added using dovetail connections. Our software, Polybuilder, generates plans in 30 minutes, minimising waste. Our principle is: "Repair, Reuse, Recycle."
