About
Math2Market GmbH develops and sells the scientific software GeoDict. Our customers work on analysis and development of materials directly on the computer, making the GeoDict software a true digital material laboratory. In this way, for example, a filter element can be optimized by simulation in a multi-stage process, before it finally goes into production.
We collaborate with international partners from industry and research in many ways and present innovative contributions at scientific conferences and trade shows.
On-going development and adding valuable extensions to the software modules for many applications is what we do best. The growth of the company reflects our customers' appreciation of an annual update of GeoDict.
Some applications are:
• Porous materials for oil-, air- and diesel particulate filters, non-woven fabrics and paper dewatering felts. Many other materials for numerous applications are optimized to fit increasingly harder requirements through simulation.
• Fuel cells, batteries and catalysts are developed and optimized using GeoDict.
• Composite materials can be designed and optimized for the chemical industry, plastics industry, aerospace, electronics, and automotive industry.
• The E&P sector of the Oil and Gas industry benefits from faster and more comprehensive analysis of drilling core properties than are possible from classical laboratory settings.
• Novel and unexplored application areas for the GeoDict software in diverse fields are identified frequently.
In the 12 years since the 2011 spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM), Math2Market GmbH has grown to 70 employees, with its leading scientists offering 80 years of combined experience in the fields of application.
In software development, Math2Market GmbH continues its cooperation with the Fraunhofer ITWM, from which it acquired the intellectual property rights (IP) to GeoDict in 2012.
