Somos uma entidade sem fins lucrativos, ligada diretamente à SPE, com o objetivo de coletar, disseminar e intercambiar conhecimentos da indústria de petróleo e gás, estabelecendo contato entre o meio acadêmico e as empresas de petróleo, fornecendo oportunidades para seus integrantes aperfeiçoarem e ampliarem competências técnicas e profissionais. Através da SPE, profissionais e estudantes podem manter-se sempre atualizados a respeito dos últimos projetos e tecnologias desenvolvidas para exploração e produção de petróleo por meio de artigos, jornais, e publicações diversas. O Capítulo Estudantil UDESC (...) . Dentre as diversas atividades realizadas pelo Capítulo estão: visitas técnicas, minicursos, workshops, conversação em inglês, Petroquest (...). Tais atividades permitem o estabelecimento de um forte canal de comunicação entre a universidade e a indústria do petróleo. We are a non-profit entity, linked directly to the SPE, with the objective of collecting, disseminating and exchanging knowledge of the oil and gas industry, establishing contact between academic and petroleum firms, providing opportunities for their Members improve and broaden technical and professional skills. Through the SPE, professionals and students can always keep up-to-date about the latest projects and technologies developed for oil exploration and production through articles, newspapers, and miscellaneous publications. The Student chapter UDESC (...). Among the various activities conducted by the chapter are: technical visits, minicourses, workshops, conversation in English, Petroquest (...). Such activities enable the establishment of a strong communication channel between the University and the petroleum industry.
