About

Founded in 1960, the Pan American School of Bahia (PASB) is cooperatively owned by parents and operates as a non-profit, non-denominational, college-preparatory institution for American, International, and Brazilian students. The academic program includes Early Childhood Education (ECE) for children between 2 and 4 years old, an Elementary School (Kindergarten-5), a Middle School (6-8), and a four-year High School (9-12). With a low student-teacher ratio, the School can provide the individual attention necessary for students' personal development and academic achievement. At all levels, students are encouraged to use their own initiative and are taught the value of research, inquiry, and discovery. Emphasis is on the development of English language skills and all classroom instruction is in English.
