Doerrenberg was founded in 1860 as a steel and forging company

Today succesfully active in five business units:

- Special Steels - Operating one of the biggest stocks for tool and special steels with modern band and block saws, as well as our state-of-the-art milling centre, we can offer our customers bars sawn to length or pre-machined plates and blocks with short lead-times.

- Steel Mill - Producing green steel via an electric arc furnace, renewable energy and a very high recycling rate (reusage of scrap) in mid-size lots. Highly flexible and due to our experienced and skilled workforce special grades can be melted.

- Steel Foundry - Hollow and full mould casting, offering the best quality in material and design in special steel mould casting.

- Casting Products - Design solutions for filigree components, even complicated geometries can be realized with high dimensional accuracy and at economic conditions

- Coating & Hardening - Consulting customers based on their specific needs to apply the best hardening and surface treatment. Offering heat treatment, hard-material coating, plasma nitriding, polishing, and coat removal.

Our subsidiaries are present in Asia, Middle-East, the U.S. and obviously Europe. Our premium partners have a close link to our quality standards and are in permanent contact with our sales and technical specialists.

Almost 600 colleagues serve our customers fairly and with highest expertise in the steel industry globally.
