Sotra Anchor & Chain, fully owned by The Sotra Group, was founded in 1980 on Norway's west coast. Today, we're known as the world's largest stockist of anchors and chains, with over 20,000 tonnes of inventory including brand new and second-hand anchors, chains, shackles, and accessories for the shipping, offshore, aquaculture, and shipbuilding industries.

While our main office and yard are in Norway, we've expanded with additional yards in the Netherlands, and China. From these locations, we supply hundreds of ships, offshore rigs, fish farms, and new builds annually.

Despite our growth, we maintain a small, agile team that ensures rapid, round-the-clock service. We're committed to delivering exceptional customer service, 24/7, wherever and whenever needed.
