About

The Añangu people have been living in complete harmony with the Amazon for generations, following their cultural and social traditions.
More than 20 years ago, they decided to stop hunting, fishing and cutting down trees in their territory. They bet for Tourism, as the path to obtain the resources they require. Thanks to the development of this activity in a responsible way, different projects have been financed such as the Community School, the Health Center, among others.
The Añangu have designed two projects, recognized worldwide for their activity: The Napo Wildlife Center, with a focus on nature and the Napo Cultural Center, with a focus on culture.
