PETREC is a technology-based company, 100% Brazilian, spin-off of COPPE/UFRJ, with headquarters in the Business Incubator of UFRJ, located inside the Technological Park at Ilha do Fundão Campus.
PETREC, recently qualified as a Seismic and Non-Seismic Data Acquisition Company by ANP, acts in the area of technology and innovation in geophysical data processing, digital petrophysics and online data management services. The company's technical team consists of Masters and PhDs in several areas of geoscience and engineering, with more than 10 years of experience in research, consulting and services for the Oil and Gas industry.
