La Asociación Colombiana de Generadores de Energía Eléctrica (Acolgen) es una organización gremial privada, sin ánimo de lucro, ajena a cuestiones de orden político, creada con el objeto de promover la libre y sana competencia y el desarrollo sostenible y económicamente eficiente del mercado eléctrico colombiano, en particular de la actividad de generación eléctrica.En la actualidad, estamos conformados por 14 empresas de generación de energía eléctrica que representan aproximadamente el 85% de la capacidad efectiva neta de generación en Colombia.
The Colombian Electric Power Generation Association - ACOLGEN, is a private, non-profit, non-political advocacy Association that represents nearly 85% of the total installed capacity of electric power generation in Colombia. The organization aims to promote free and fair competition and the sustainable and efficient development of the Colombian electricity market, through active participation in the design of regulatory frameworks and public policies.
