About

We were born in 1997, small but with a huge spirit. When Tabacos del Paraguay SA opened its doors, few could have guaranteed such a resounding success for this budding Paraguayan company that entered into competition against the large tobacco multinationals. We had a restless spirit that gave us the strength to start moving from the first day. On July 7, 1997, with only 8 employees and 4 distribution vehicles, we went out on the street. The task was to cover Asunción first, then Greater Asunción, and finally the entire national territory. The sales success was resounding, and in the first four months 22 vehicles were added to the fleet. Thus, we formed a team full of talent committed to being close to people, wherever they are, first marketing PALERMO, SAN MARINO and Kentucky cigarettes, manufactured by Tabacalera del Este SA. Every day we move to find the best for our consumers and our brands. We are the ones who move in good times, and in the face of adversity we move even more. We move to be stronger, to be better. To face new challenges and opportunities. That is how we took the next step in our evolution in August 2016 and changed our name, we changed to something that we had been building all this time. Thus the company began to be called Palermo SA, a name by which we are already known and identified, which is part of our history and which allows us to open up to more horizons, more mass consumption brands, focused on our new vision as a company. With a new identity that symbolizes the projection of our beautiful country to the world, where each color represents a new business opportunity, and a new image that transmits dynamism, innovation, professionalism and quality.
