The environment is your fellow man. That is the design philosophy of Urhahn Urban Design & Strategy in a nutshell. A spatial task is therefore by definition a social issue. Especially now, considering urgent themes such as climate change, health or social security. According to Urhahn, only a cooperative design process leads to sustainable urban development. In other words: the user and everyday life are central to the spatial design. Good design unites ideal and practice. Collaboration, reciprocity and knowledge sharing are core values. In this way, Urhahn uses its many years of experience for a just city.
Urhahn are social urban designers. The design agency consists of a skilled and committed team of practical idealists. Founded in 1991 by Gert Urhahn, Tess Broekmans and Ad de Bont are now the owners. Urhahn works on spatial visions, strategies and plans through research, design and publications.
