Janani Foods Pvt Ltd is establishing a value chain from soil to market for Fruits, Vegetables and Spices to improve farm productivity (at Least 15%), reduce post harvest losses (at least by 30%) and improve shelf life (2 times). This will be under Public Private Partnership mode with Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Haryana. Farmer Groups and Farmer Producer Companies will be farmed at village level as back end. Janani will adapt technologies like Controlled Atmospheric Storage, Modified Atmospheric Packaging and High Pressure Processing as part of its cold chain infrastructure and HortiProcessing.

Project investment in each of the States is Rs.500.00 Crores and Janani's share is Rs.200.00 Crores. Agreements already signed with the Governments and Detailed Project Reports are under processing.
