The Space

About

The Space is a new physical bitcoin hub in Denver, Colorado, USA. Launched in fall 2023 by a group of passionate local bitcoiners, this project aims to unite our talented community, support development, promote education, and foster a local bitcoin economy.

What sets our organization apart is its member-run structure. Every member of The Space has a voting interest in the organization's direction. Our leadership team consists of a nine-member board, including six officers and three member representatives who advocate for the members. Board elections are held annually. This is a grassroots effort, built from scratch, with no single entity or individual holding controlling interest or say.

We plan to host a variety of public and member events, educational seminars, and workshops focused on bitcoin, sovereignty, and freedom technology. The Space will be the premier place to work and socialize, offering extensive amenities and resources.

Our revenue model relies on membership dues and supporting sponsors, with no single party funding this effort. We are committed to open sourcing our documentation and organizational structure to help other communities establish physical bitcoin citadels worldwide.
