In 2004, Alliance Financial Services Limited (AFSL) was strategically formed to take over the Cambio services business that was then being operated by Alliance Investment Management Limited. During that year, Alliance Financial Services was also appointed as a Primary Agent of MoneyGram Payment Systems, Inc. ("MoneyGram"), a major international money transfer service provider, after receiving its remittance license from the Bank of Jamaica.

During its sixteen (16) years of operation, the Company has grown to become a notable provider of Cambio and Remittance services in Jamaica. AFSL has its head office at Belmont Road and has four (4) proprietary branches strategically located across the island, the most recent of which was established in August 2019 at the Portmore Mall in St. Catherine. The other branches are located in Liguanea, Mandeville and May Pen. In addition, Alliance has sixty-eight (68) sub-agent MoneyGram locations island wide.
