About

The Paul Group today consists of four companies from different industries. Founded over 200 years ago as a smithy near Vilshofen an der Donau, the group of companies still combines tradition with the most modern know-how.

With the largest commercial vehicle service center in the Passau region, Josef Paul GmbH & Co. KG has developed into a competent multi-brand partner for trucks, vans and buses. The core brand at the Passau location is Mercedes-Benz with the status of an authorized sales and service company. This is where new and used commercial vehicles are sold, as well as, since 2013, used Mercedes-Benz brand vehicles. As an authorized service partner for cars, car customers of the brand with the star can also be offered an all-round service package.

With its second service center in Vilshofen an der Donau, Josef Paul GmbH & Co. KG is also an authorized service partner for MAN commercial vehicles.

Paul Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH in Vilshofen on the Danube is one of the European market leaders in the field of special vehicle construction. This division of the Paul Group has developed into a successful global player. The chassis specialists from Lower Bavaria carry out industry and application-specific chassis conversions, axle modifications, frame extensions and special configurations on up to 1000 commercial vehicles every year.

E-VADE GmbH is already taking care of the mobility of the future today and bundles the skills and experience from service, sales and special vehicle construction in order to be able to meet the future demands of mobility.

The Paul Group is treading the digital path with Insisto GmbH, which has been based in Passau since 2016. The IT service provider offers individual software solutions for all branches of the company, as well as customer-specific web development based on the latest standards such as HTML5, CSS3.

The Paul Group currently has around 500 employes.
