USTC was founded in Fredericia, Denmark, in 1876, but has been headquartered in Middelfart, Denmark since 1981. Today, the group consists of well-known companies like Bunker Holding, Uni-Tankers, SDK FREJA, Global Risk Management, Unit IT and more covering 130 offices in 35 countries and around 4,000 employees combined worldwide.

USTC is a family business with emphasis on core values, great history and a strong culture. The group is owned and operated by Torben Østergaard-Nielsen and his two daughters, Nina Østergaard Borris and Mia Østergaard Rechnitzer.
