About
Riksteatern är Sveriges nationalscen för turnerande teater. Vi grundades 1933 för att hela landet, inte bara storstäderna, skulle ges tillgång till högkvalitativ scenkonst. Vi erbjuder teater, dans, musik och cirkus som sätter tankar och känslor i rörelse – för alla, överallt.
Med cirka 1 miljon besökare varje år, närmare 40 000 medlemmar, över 200 lokala och regionala riksteaterföreningar och 50 anslutna organisationer är Riksteatern en levande folkrörelse och Sveriges största producerande turnéteater. Vi är hela Sveriges scen.
