About
The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (NDPA) is both a supervisory authority and an ombud. Our role is to prevent data protection and privacy violations through the use of personal data.
The NDPA is based in Oslo and is an independent administrative body under the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation. The NDPA was established in 1980.
