About

Engineers Without Borders (EWB-DK) is a technical-humanitarian organization of volunteer specialists with a large range of advanced technical skills and backgrounds. We collaborate closely with local and international partners to improve living conditions and infrastructure for vulnerable and at-risk populations. We work with private and public partners on climate adaptation, sustainable energy solutions, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and waste management projects based on constructive partnerships, technical assistance and local capacity building. We ensure local anchoring and sustainable solutions with our efforts deeply founded in UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

EWB-DK has 1500 members, 200 active technical volunteers and a full time secretariat and project adviser staff in Copenhagen. In 2023 EWB-DK projects had a reach of 140.000 people..
