Home Energy Consultants, Inc. in Pleasant Valley, NY is an BPI accredited and award winning contractor with the EmPowerNY and Home Performance with Energy Star programs run by NYSERDA. We help homeowners in the Mid-Hudson region of New York State to reduce energy consumption, allowing them to save on their utility bills. It is the mission of Home Energy Consultants, Inc. to provide effective home energy efficiency improvements as well as provide customer education regarding home energy savings through excellent customer service, quality craftsmanship and a strong work ethic. Our vision is to create a better life for all people through energy conservation and renewable energy sources.
Home Energy Consultants, Inc. also provides HERS (Home Energy Rating System) services and we are certified RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) rater. We label Energy Star Homes, perform HERS ratings and perform NYS mandated testing for compliance with the NYS Energy Conservation Code (i.e. duct leakage tests, duct balancing tests and blower door tests).
