The mission of the Radnor Township government is to serve the best interests of all our residents by providing and maintaining a secure environment that enhances the quality of life for the individual and the community. This mission makes Radnor Township a great place in which to live, work, and do business! In fact, in April 1996, Philadelphia magazine named Radnor Township as "The Best Place to Live in the Philadelphia Region."

This honor was the result of a Quality of Life Index created by the magazine to rank 165 towns in the Philadelphia Region in 16 different categories, including:

Availability of public transportation
Commitment to schools
Crime rate
Degree of recycling
Housing prices
Overall trendiness
Population diversity and density
Quality of recreation
