About
Our Association was established in 1960, when scientific and technical translators separated from the Yugoslav Union of Translators founded in 1953, in order to better achieve their objectives.
The objectives of our Association are, among other things, to improve and promote the scientific and technical translation and interpreting professions, to work on the training and professional development of translators, to protect the social and professional status of our members and to represent their interests, and to serve the society by providing reliable, professional scientific, technical and legal translation and interpreting services.
