About

LMT was founded in March 1999 by Stefan Nell, Chris Giliomee and Andy Hodgson with the aim of providing a consulting service to the local defense industry. This aim has since expanded to include the rest of the world, and LMT now offers technologically mature protected mobility products to local and international clients in the defense and security industries. The product portfolio consists from armored cabs and armored containers to 4x4 armored vehicles providing very high levels of ballistic, landmine and IED protection whilst still retaining exceptional on- and off road mobility.

LMT was purchased by OTT Technologies in 2020 - www.ott.co.za and find itself in the OTT Group of companies, consisting of OTT Technologies (for the production of LMT's products) and ADG Mobility - www.adgm.co.za for all design and development activities.
