Volcano Trails is a licensed tour operator and destination management company in Iceland, founded in 1997. With our 20th anniversary coming up in 2017 we are committed to continuing to provide unforgettable Highland tours and experiences in Iceland, for groups and individual travelers.

For more than two decades, we had the privilege to explore in detail the beautiful nature of Iceland, taking away valuable lessons on how to operate tours and services in the Icelandic Highlands. We have built a network of hundreds of service providers including expert guides, we have trained our own staff in the field, set up base camps in the Highlands, and acquired a large fleet of classic 4x4 adventure vehicles, all of which enables us to operate tours to all corners of Iceland, all year round.  If you wish to experience the best hidden, hard-to-reach places in Iceland, we will get you there!

Volcano Trails has worked hard on maintaining long-standing mutually beneficial relationships with its customers, co-workers, suppliers, and contractors for two decades. It is our mission to be in business for decades to come and to do so we feel it is important to respect our land, our business partners, customers, employees, and our community.

Volcano Trails trades as a fully licensed  Travel Agency under Icelandic legislation and is a member of the Icelandic Travel Industry Association.
