MUA Insurance Acceptances have grown from small beginnings, established more than 30 years ago, to become South Africa's leaders in the high net worth short-term personal lines market.

MUA's portfolio of some 20 000 clients is managed through a network of 700 independent insurance brokers, serviced by a national branch network with offices in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

MUA is solely dedicated to the high net worth insurance market and we believe that by specialising in just one discipline, we can provide an individually tailored approach for each client.

Our philosophy begins with the foundation that protection has to be in place for almost every possible event, therefore our MUA Personal Insurance policy includes some special elements that we are sure will appeal to all. It continues with the knowledge that every risk is different and should always be assessed and underwritten individually taking into account each client's unique risk profile.

We are an underwriting manager, writing business on behalf of Auto & General Insurance Company Limited an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP No.: 16354). MUA is a subsidiary of Hannover Reinsurance Company Limited with a 100% shareholding ownership by Lireas Holdings (Pty) Ltd. MUA's business philosophy of continued improvement has been entrenched throughout our business.
