Videntifier Technologies Ehf (Videntifier) is dedicated to building video identification tools and solutions that can help organizations accurately identify and address illegal content online. Since 2012, our unrivaled technology has helped organizations such as online platforms, law enforcement, and CSAM hotlines efficiently navigate the heavy influx of illegal content content posted online every day.

Videntifier was founded in 2008 with the goal of supporting users searching and tracking vast amounts of multimedia data in an efficient and effective manner. We are a young and open-minded company that focuses on building up an international multimedia search infrastructure. In addition to our leadership team, Videntifier consists of an experienced group of advisors and global industry partners who play an invaluable role in carrying out our organization's mission.

One of the company's leading partners is the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), an organization dedicated to serving as a voice for children who cannot defend themselves against abusers, as well as helping parents bring missing or lost children home.

NCMEC does not have an extensive staff, so sifting through millions of videos is a looming and impossible task, especially given the disturbing nature of the content. With Videntifier, NCMEC no longer requires manual review of known media, reducing the need to expose their victim identification team to the same traumatizing imagery again and again. Our solution was able to reduce a database of 44.8 million CSAM Videos (unique and duplicated) to only 5.1 million unique videos.

Videntifier is rooted in the database laboratories of Reykjavik University, Iceland and IRISA-CNRS in Rennes, France. We base our services on the very latest innovations in multimedia database and computer vision technology. Our team pays high attention to current research trends in the area and tries to incorporate these new features into its products.
