About

Selektia Italia was born in Tuscany in 2008 by the long experience
of its owner, Simone Calugi, in the collection, production and sale
of Truffles.
An innate passion passed down from his father Renato Calugi,
excellent Truffles hunter and famous Tuscan entrepreneur.
Simone Calugi follows in his father's footsteps and creates
a new company that immediately gains appreciation and
acknowledgments throughout the world.
Considering the great knowledge of the product and the market,
Simone Calugi's main and indisputable objective is the pursuit of
Excellence in the production of a very high-quality product. The
precious tuber, mainly collected between San Miniato hills, the
Balze Volterranee and the Crete Senesi, is selected and worked
with the most innovative technologies to preserve and enhance
its natural features.
A very high-quality selection that includes some important
extra values such as traceability of the product, carefully
selected suppliers, rigorous sanitary regulation, including IFS
Certification, glutenfree products, and the Organic versions of
some products of Gourmet, Mushrooms and Truffles lines. The

paid to the selection of raw materials, in order to offer worldwide
the best of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.
