About
In 1931, Andrea Verri creates his roastery, one of the first in Italy, starting from a little grocery in Borgosesia, Piedmont.
In the 1960s a synergy with the Mercandelli family, the owners of the coffee machines producer Victoria Arduino, begins. Thanks to it, the company expands its market and reaches Lombardy and other regions nearby.
From the need to satisfy an increasing number of clients, in 1996 the families Verri and Mercandelli found a company called D.G.C. - Distribuzione di Generi Coloniali (Distribution of Colonial Goods), owner of the brand Caffè Verri and other brands that are reserved to specific international markets such as Germany, Albania, the Emirates and Libya.
In this way, the company can expand its sales network in order to bring the excellence of made-in-Italy coffee abroad, by establishing itself in the field of the artisan production of coffee and providing a service of professional technical assistance.
