Established in 1976, Floatex is actually located in Provaglio d'Iseo, Italy and is one of the leading companies in buoyancy and fendering for coastal and offshore marine products.

Since 1976 Floatex pioneers the application of rotomoulded products and technology in the offshore fields. The continuous prototype testing procedures and field applications gave the company the opportunity to acquire an unparalleled and succesfull field experience. In these years the company has flourished and diversified and now comprises several divisions which are well represented all over the world by experienced agents and representative offices.

Moreover, FLOATEX offers its customers an internal Quality Control service to guarantee the quality of the final product and the quality control service avails itself of an in-house fully equipped laboratory facility, making out a test certificates for release to the customer in accordance with internationally known nominated inspection agencies.

The main categories of products actually Floatex manufactures are:

A.To.N: light buoys, GRP and polyethylene port towers, Elastic Articulated Beacons, Monit buoy/beacon, marine lanterns and signal accessories.

Offshore: Submarine floats, Y piece and concentric floating reducers, Marker and chain support buoys, Pick-up buoys, Anchore pennant Buoys, Pipe supporting floats, MBC floats, deepwater buoys and floats and other several tailor made items.

Dredging: Dredging floats and Bow coupling floats.

Fendering: Foam filled fenders and polyurethane protections.

Mooring: Different kind of mooring buoys to moor the small boat up to cruise vessels, Conventional Buoy Mooring systems.

Antipollution: Oil booms.

Poontoons: Floats for the pontoons and platforms.

Aquaculture: Light buoys and line floats, Cage floats.
