Ochre Moving Pictures (OMP) is one of South Africa's leading developers and producers of high-quality entertainment and educational television, with an award-winning track record in producing entertaining content that reaches audiences of all ages.
With an in-house team of some of South Africa's top television professionals, and a wider network that can assemble diverse teams, OMP has over the past ten years produced programming across genres from Soaps to Drama's, Documentaries to Reality series, Youth programming to Children's television.
OMP is a subsidiary of Arena Holdings (www.arena.africa), one of South Africa's leading media groups with interests in publishing, home entertainment, music, retail and film distribution. A key driver of cross platform initiatives for Arena, OMP has diversified its business to include Formats and Rights acquisition, Channel development for pay-tv, Mobile content and International series.
OMP has extensive broadcast technical facilities to service a diverse range of production needs. Its project management, financial and technical team is able to ensure that we deliver to the highest expectations when it comes to deliver projects on time and to the most rigorous financial controls
In addition to all South African broadcasters, we have produced film and television for BBC, Channel 4 (UK), France 2, PBS (US), NHK (Japan), Sesame Workshop (US), and the African Development Bank.
