About
The Gateways Music Festival celebrates professional classical musicians of African descent through multi-day residencies in concert and community venues in cities across the United States. Taking place in the fall and spring, more than 100 musicians participate in the Festival and perform for a diverse and multi-ethnic live audience of approximately 10,000 and a broadcast audience of more than 100,000.
Other Gateways programs include the Gateways Brass Collective, Gateways Chamber Players, Gateways Radio, and Young Musicians Institute.
