In 2009, Steamist took a major step forward, introducing the Total Sense™ Home Spa System. Total Sense allowed homeowners to enhance their in-home steam experience by selecting from three Spa Options: AromaSense™, ChromaSense™ and AudioSense™. The Total Sense system also raised the bar for the industry with advances in digital control technology that made it fast and easy for homeowners to program personalized steambathing profiles for two separate users.

Year after year, Steamist has continued to introduce new innovations to make its Total Sense offering better for homeowners. In 2015, ShowerSense™ was added to the menu of spa options, permitting users to operate up to three shower outlets using just one digital control. ShowerSense technology is now available for installation without a steam generator, as a stand-alone Steamist "Digital Shower System.
