KMC Construction was established in 1997 by the Managing Director Jacques N Bakkes in the infrastructure development and construction market. From humble beginnings, KMC soon became synonymous with quality and excellence in the civil engineering, construction and property development domains.

The company's hands-on approach ensures that several leading housing developers have KMC Construction on their closed tender lists and our private sector client base continues to grow.

Our rich and long history in infrastructure construction provided us with a solid foundation for the rapid expansion we experienced, especially over the past decade. We ultimately became a multidisciplinary contractor with specialised teams working on leading construction projects across Southern Africa.
