Wirsam Scientific was established in 1968 by Mr. Peter Wirsam. Throughout its proud history Wirsam has entrenched itself as one of the continents leading suppliers of laboratory instrumentation.
The company is divided into Microscopy, Analytical, Material Testing, Petrochemical and General Laboratory Instrumentation divisions. To complement the holistic product range, Wirsam has fully equipped workshops providing complete sales and service capabilities via the head office (Johannesburg) and across South Africa's major business centres (Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Vanderbijlpark).
