IAC is the UK's leading Independent systems integrator, specialising primarily in variable speed drive systems. A systems integrator is a company which utilises the equipment designed and manufactured by the World's leading equipment manufacturers and designs them into a tailored solution which meets the customers requirements. The company will use 'best of breed'​ equipment, rather than just one manufacturer to offer the best solution in all areas of control.

IAC offer a full turnkey solution, and can therefore provide any single element of this service. After sales support, design assistance and consultancy can be accommodated within a dedicated team of engineers covering a miriad of disciplines. IAC prides itself on the development of its engineering expertise and invests heavily in training and support for its entire workforce.

In the past few years, IAC has moved to new, modern premises and invested in the purchase of a control panel manufacturer, Tiprow Controls, to join its existing sales office in Benoni, South Africa.

IAC has also recently started a new venture: IAC Electronic Manufacturing Services from its old premises. The new company, IACems, offers cost effective contract assembly which is competitive with overseas manufacturing.
